The Justice of Restoration

Abundance is coming – The night is darkest just before the dawn. We are prophetically on the eve of new levels of creativity, opportunity and fruit. Yet, our experience is navigating the present darkness and attack against our dreams. The reason we guard our hearts is simply that the thief would like to steal our dream. We have all experienced the sense of “losing” in finances, health, relationships, years and dreams. In fact, the desires that God planted in our heart are always connected to sound relationships, good health, long life, and abundant finances. Protecting those areas from attack is key to our destiny in the Kingdom. It’s not just about us – It’s about the Kingdom.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. John 10:10 NASU
Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Prov 4:23 NIV

Understanding why – The first question a loss prompts is, “Why?” If God is the author of our trial, we would want to somehow embrace it; if it’s the thief, we want to resist it. This question is centuries old, and I want to summarize a few of our theological options that your heart is already entertaining
The dark night of the soul – This option has roots in the mysticism of the Middle Ages. The premise is that our hearts are evil and need purification or crucifixion. The more spiritual I am, the more I experience and embrace trials and difficulties to cleanse my heart.
At some level, the suffering becomes self-inflicted. Although God can test and discipline us, those experiences alone don’t define our relationship with God. This belief falsely blames God for our loss and the fruit is that we have no Kingdom impact on our culture.

I’m created for fellowship – This school of thought is that our love relationship with the Lord is our real reason for existence; that trying to find purpose in your mountain can be a form of works or idolatry that takes us out of love for God. This belief simply denies the reality that the consequence of loving God is working with Him to build the Kingdom.
It also leaves us in a defeated posture of retreating into an introverted and isolated version of “loving God” that accepts loss as God motivating us to love Him more. Again, God gets the blame for loss and the fruit is that we have no Kingdom impact in our culture.

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Eph 2:10
You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit — fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. John 15:16-17

Both of these views have elements of truth, but both accept loss as spiritual, and leave us defeated and on the sidelines in the Kingdom. When loss occurs, I do want to be sure that my heart is right before the Lord and to verify my first love. However, the explanation for a theft is usually the thief! Over-spiritualizing a robbery and trying to blame God isn’t very productive. Both of these concepts leave us as pseudo-spiritual monks; introverted, isolated, and hopelessly aloof from impacting our culture or mountain.
Restoration – The good news is that theft is fairly common and survivable. Your and my situations are not unique. God has an answer! He has a system of justice in place to restore what the enemy has stolen from us. What has been missing is the perseverance to use our faith to ask for God’s justice to restore what has been lost. What is even more exciting is that God doesn’t just replace what has been lost; He multiplies it back to us… double, 4-fold, 7-fold, and 100-fold!

Job received a double portion – “After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord made him prosperous again and gave him twice as much as he had before.” Job 42:10-11 NIV
Theft under the law requires a 2- to 7-fold return – “If a man steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it, he must pay back five head of cattle for the ox and four sheep for the sheep (Ex 22:1). See also Ex 22:4, Leviticus 6:5, 2214 and Proverbs 6:31.

100-fold returns –
“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.” Matt 19:29 NIV

Faith that perseveres to justice – When the enemy steals from God’s people, God is zealous to inflict vengeance on the loss and to restore it. Although God is totally committed to multiplying restoration, we have not known how to ask for it in faith and to lay prophetic claim to that which is ours. We have not known how to pray. Too often, we’ve given up and blamed ourselves or God for the loss we’ve experienced. Listen to this parable of the widow who insisted on justice as an act of faith.
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: “In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3 And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, ‘Grant me justice against my adversary.’
4 “For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, ‘Even though I don’t fear God or care about men, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won’t eventually wear me out with her coming!’”
6 And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:1-8 NIV
Wisdom – What’s the smart thing to do when we experience loss?
1. Perspective – Count it as an opportunity to deepen your faith and perseverance. It happens to all of us, and you will survive and mature. What the enemy meant for evil, God will turn to good (Rom 8:28). It may take time, but our posture during that wait is high expectations rooted in our understanding of God’s justice.
2. Priorities – Warfare and loss is not about you, personally. It’s about the Kingdom. When we seek God, His wisdom and His Kingdom first, everything else gets added or restored (finances, health, relationships, years and dreams). Solomon chose wisdom and understanding and God added wealth, honor and long life. Our priority is the Kingdom… God takes great care of us and our needs.

I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. 13 Moreover, I will give you what you have not asked for — both riches and honor — so that in your lifetime you will have no equal among kings. …I will give you long life. 1 Kings 3:12-14 NIV

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:33 NIV
3. Forgiveness – Vengeance belongs to God. It’s wisdom to forgive and to make room for God to execute His justice. Holding a grudge or harboring bitterness just doesn’t make any sense!
Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Rom 12:17-21 NIV
4. Work – See the progression? …First trials, perseverance, then wisdom, then restoration. Ask for the wisdom to receive the multiplied restoration to reverse your loss. It won’t just fall out of heaven through prayer. God will work with you to find a way out. It’s not a passive process. It takes tenacity, single-mindedness, and work to be a King and to stand your ground in the Kingdom. The thief loves to steal from Christians and leave them demotivated and passive. It really is a war and we really do have to fight to win it. Once we commit to engage in the battle, we find that victories can come easily with the Lord’s help. We really can experience the multiplication and the sense of His wind in our sails. He’s just waiting for that level of faith to exercise His justice and to inflict His vengeance on the thief.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does. James 1:2-8 NIV

5. Make a plan – When our faith is high enough to put a plan in place that is rooted in the desires of our heart, the answers come. That dream will sustain your heart through adversity just as Joseph survived his stay in prison and his promotion in Egypt. Your role in the Kingdom is worth the investment of your time to put that plan into place and to get the help you need to do it. Here are some suggestions for next steps. We may be able to help you with a heart plan.

In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps. Prov 16:9 NIV
To man belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the reply of the tongue. Prov 16:1

Prayer
Father, I realize that people don’t have to give, so when hey do, I know You’re in it. They’re following Your prompting, obeying Your direction. Thank You for using us to bless one another, and for granting us the willingness to give without expecting anything in return. Help me to be open to Your claim on all my resources so that I can bless others in Your name. And thank You for all the surprises You have planned for me to receive. Amen

My daddy was so sweet and so thoughtful! We had been talking about me getting a new car and what kind I wanted and needed. I honestly wanted a pick up truck but the gas and prices were just way out of range for me. My daddy always watched television till the 11 o'clock news came on. I was in my room working on school work. He came walking in my room around ten o'clock and said, Marlene,
"I have an answer for ya,and your issue over a car!" Whenever he would make a statement like this, he would laugh, chuckle and I knew he was up to something. I said, "Ok, daddy what is the deal?"
He said,
"Call David Maus (Toyota), he can have you a car here in an hour!" I laughed and said, "Tonight?, really?" Then my dad, said I don't know that's just what the commercial said, "Call David Maus Toyota, and they will deliver in an hour!" He laughed and went back to bed.

He then completely ignored my question, and went on to tell me his story about his knowledge of the S_U_B or submarine sandwich and how it got it's name!
I had to admit, "No, I don't have a clue."

Then my daddy said, "Well hold on I'm fixin' to tell you!"
Well, the story is these guys went in to get their grinders, but didn't have time to stay, so they wrapped them up and took them back to their submarine and that is how they got the name SUBS. It is short for submarine sandwiches!
I thought this was hilarious and sure enough I looked up grinders and they are "submarine" sandwiches.

He is finally at peace, running, jumping and probably drinking coffee with Jesus!

The last few years have been quite a struggle for him. He didn't like being bedridden and he was tired of being sick and tired. The last time I prayed with him, he said he felt like a "zombie." My dad could describe his feelings in one word or one sentence matter of fact statements. Usually the humor expressed subtly would hit you a few hours later, giving you a fresh appreciation of his wisdom.

My daddy was one of the hardest workers I've ever known. Over the past three years, he had gone from getting up early, going to work seven days a week 364 days a year (he always took off Christmas), to being barely able to get out of bed.

Only after extreme doses of chemo therapy and radiation, at the ripe old age of 87, he lost his strength. His mind remained "sharp as a tack" and like I said earlier, he always had a quick wit about him...even to the very end of his life here on earth.

The Coffee Cup

Dear Seed Sower Deb,

You asked about my dad. This morning I'm home with him. His heart is getting weaker and weaker but he is still able to crack a joke.
I always make coffee when he stays home and this morning I took him another cup. Usually I take him a small delicate cup, but this one was heavier. He needs the exercise!

Of course he lays down and drinks his coffee because he is weak. I poured him a refill and he said, "This is the height of laziness." (He meant, laying in bed drinking coffee.)

He keeps asking me if his brain is ok? He's worried about becoming demented. I assure him he's still all there. This has been a serious learning experience being at home with my dad who is 87. I've learned a lot and I've been blessed to be loved alot.

He is always thankful for every little thing and rarely complains. One thing I've noticed is that he is able to discern whenever he is anxious about something. He knows and understands whether or not something is a matter that you should get upset about.

He says, "my nerves are bad, I get upset over something I shouldn't get upset over."

This reminded me of Phil 4:6 "Be careful (anxious)for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

For those of you out there with older parents...appreciate their wisdom....and love their life....that all may go well with you and you will live a long life. For more about his produce market he started in 1955 check out
When they had crossed over, Elijah said to Elisha, “What can I do for you, before I am taken away from you?” Elisha answered, “May I receive a double portion of the prophetic spirit that energizes you.” Elijah replied, “That’s a difficult request! If you see me taken from you, may it be so, but if you don’t, it will not happen.”
As they were walking along and talking, suddenly a fiery chariot pulled by fiery horses appeared. They went between Elijah and Elisha, and Elijah went up to heaven in a windstorm. While Elisha was watching, he was crying out,
“My father, my father! The chariot and horsemen of Israel!” Then he could no longer see him. He grabbed his clothes and tore them in two.

Matthew 10:22-24 says,
And everyone will hate you because of your allegience to me. But those who endure to the end shall be saved. When you are persecuted in one town, flee to the next., I assure you that I, the Son of Man, will return before you have reached all the towns of Israel.

The fiery Elijah confronted and exposed idolatry, helping to change the atmosphere where people could freely ad publicly worship God. Elisha then moved in to demonstrate God's powerful yet caring nature to all those who came to him for help.

Great I Am by New Life Worship
I
wanna to be close close to your side
So Heaven is real, and death is a lie

I wanna be near near to your heart
Loving the world hating the dark
I want to see dry bones living again
Singing as one

Prophecy during worship today: Lifepoint Church, Tallahassee, FL.
There is a great fire coming, coming from the LORD. It will be as the fiery chariots that came down from heaven and scooped up Elijah. It will leave a remnant of passion and glory needed to equip those who are walking in the last days - those who are willing to pick up this mantel, those who are willing to bear my name in the heat of the battle that is coming upon the earth. This is a battle against the host of hell. My Fire is a refining fire, a purifying fire and I will use those who can bear the fire when it gets hot. These will be those who worship me in spirit and in truth. These will be those who are willing to lay down their idols, lay down their own agendas, lay down their technology for the day is coming when you will not be able to communicate with each other in this manner. You must be a people of trust, people of honor, silent before me in the storm, so you can hear my voice in the midst of the rumblings and grumblings coming upon the earth. You must be willing to lay down your earthly keys in order to pick up your heavenly keys. These are the keys to the Kingdom.

Other times I will ask you to join Me on the front line in the heat of the battle.

The truth is, I can kill any giant that threatens your life, but, just like David the shepherd boy, it’s up to you to march forward, pick up the stones, and face your giant.
I love to prove MY STRENGTH;
when the odds are the greatest and hope is the smallest.

I am truly your shelter and your deliverer –
I will protect you no matter where you are.

Love,
Your KING and your PROTECTOR

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 82px; height: 121px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjqj0IDNUXVas0NcM-aSL63cVwi4ICbKgbBPKnPB_ew6DjkRMdry8PldjnlWe_i1MTy88ZzouvMSCLSdC7vpRnywytNhLgRc23XlaxbP7MQMdihCpliSR2EbwFpj9-iMdRwSlLAcc7bxSX6/s200/protector+2.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5442588342103594994" />“You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” ~ Psa. 32:7Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787231346322812093.post-14621168057219318142010-02-07T20:58:00.001-05:002010-02-07T20:58:48.782-05:00She lived life; she surely did live right!
"We truly must set forth at dawn/to make the best of the dregs of our days/emerge from our current shadows of norm/and banish the lingering nightmares of our today./ We should cast aside our fears/and take life by storm,/the bull by the horn/lets get them to sing this sweet dirge when we are done/he live! The movement doesn't flow with the music, and everything is quite uncomfortable and jerky.

When one person realizes that, and lets the other lead, both bodies begin to flow with the music. One gives gentle cues, perhaps with a nudge to the back or by pressing lightly in one direction or another.

It's as if two become one body, moving beautifully.
The dance takes surrender, willingness, and attentiveness from one person, and gentle guidance and skill from the other.

My eyes drew back to the word Guidance.
When I saw "G": I thought of God, followed by "u" and "i".

"God, "u" and "i" "dance." God, you, and I dance.

As I lowered my head, I became willing to trust that I would get guidance about my life. Once again, I became willing to let God lead.
My prayer for you today is that God's blessings and mercies are upon you on this day and everyday. May you abide in God, as God abides in you.
Dance together with God, trusting God to lead and to guide you through each season of your life. Author Unknown

This prayer is powerful and there is nothing attached. If God has done anything for you in your life, please share this message with someone else.

Interceding in prayer is one of the best gifts we can receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards; So let's continue to pray for one another.

And I Hope You Dance!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787231346322812093.post-6307324194792250082010-01-21T23:52:00.007-05:002010-01-22T00:27:25.191-05:002010 The Year of Hope and Godly Character<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 135px; height: 101px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZH9VuSP1fWbWmANHK1mrOowdAd6Y9_PNXezMCJ4XI4xR-5uzeu-v5gIZDm_-dKQF8q6kjC5OKzwh8h4Vkrmxjb36dEteT0H6k0yrEV5memsA5Xe2CKTSodUSRLeQAPYkSGdbkW0IEMbBz/s200/hope.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429429832398736450" /> 1 Thessalonians 2:17-20 (The Message)

Do you have any idea how very homesick we became for you, dear friends? Even though it hadn't been that long and it was only our bodies that were separated from you, not our hearts, we tried our very best to get back to see you. You can't imagine how much we missed you! I, Paul, tried over and over to get back, but Satan stymied us each time. Who do you think we're going to be proud of when our Master Jesus appears if it's not you? You're our pride and joy!

Even though Paul was lonely for his friends, and obstacles kept him from those precious relationships, still his hope remained in the Lord and that the Lord would indeed, keep hope alive. Hope of Character!

Colossians 1:26-29 (The Message)

This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it's out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God's glory. It's that simple. That is the substance of our Message. We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. That's what I'm working so hard at day after day, year after year, doing my best with the energy God so generously gives me.

Why are you running? Are you doing it because it brings you glory or glory to God? We should attend to what makes the Lord happy. Tribulation was the norm for the New Testament Church. We should hope that Christ is formed in us and that God would be glorified.

Isaiah 40:27-31 (The Message)

Why would you ever complain, O Jacob,
or, whine, Israel, saying,
"God has lost track of me.
He doesn't care what happens to me"?
Don't you know anything? Haven't you been listening?
God doesn't come and go. God lasts.
He's Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn't get tired out, doesn't pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don't get tired,
they walk and don't lag behind.

Godly Character produces patience.
Death is not a natural thing-
Grief is not a natural thing-
We are not supposed to be separated!

Romans 5
Developing Patience
1-2 By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.

3-5 There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

6-8 Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn't, and doesn't, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadn't been so weak, we wouldn't have known what to do anyway. We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.

9-11 Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way. If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we're at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life! Now that we have actually received this amazing friendship with God, we are no longer content to simply say it in plodding prose. We sing and shout our praises to God through Jesus, the Messiah!

The Death-Dealing Sin, the Life-Giving Gift

12-14 You know the story of how Adam landed us in the dilemma we're in— first sin, then death, and no one exempt from either sin or death. That sin disturbed relations with God in everything and everyone, but the extent of the disturbance was not clear until God spelled it out in detail to Moses. So death, this huge abyss separating us from God, dominated the landscape from Adam to Moses. Even those who didn't sin precisely as Adam did by disobeying a specific command of God still had to experience this termination of life, this separation from God. But Adam, who got us into this, also points ahead to the One who will get us out of it.

15-17 Yet the rescuing gift is not exactly parallel to the death-dealing sin. If one man's sin put crowds of people at the dead-end abyss of separation from God, just think what God's gift poured through one man, Jesus Christ, will do! There's no comparison between that death-dealing sin and this generous, life-giving gift. The verdict on that one sin was the death sentence; the verdict on the many sins that followed was this wonderful life sentence. If death got the upper hand through one man's wrongdoing, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, in those who grasp with both hands this wildly extravagant life-gift, this grand setting-everything-right, that the one man Jesus Christ provides?

18-19 Here it is in a nutshell: Just as one person did it wrong and got us in all this trouble with sin and death, another person did it right and got us out of it. But more than just getting us out of trouble, he got us into life! One man said no to God and put many people in the wrong; one man said yes to God and put many in the right.

20-21 All that passing laws against sin did was produce more lawbreakers. But sin didn't, and doesn't, have a chance in competition with the aggressive forgiveness we call grace. When it's sin versus grace, grace wins hands down. All sin can do is threaten us with death, and that's the end of it. Grace, because God is putting everything together again through the Messiah, invites us into life—a life that goes on and on and on, world without end.

Philippians 3:17-19 (The Message)

Stick with me, friends. Keep track of those you see running this same course, headed for this same goal. There are many out there taking other paths, choosing other goals, and trying to get you to go along with them. I've warned you of them many times; sadly, I'm having to do it again. All they want is easy street. They hate Christ's Cross. But easy street is a dead-end street. Those who live there make their bellies their gods; belches are their praise; all they can think of is their appetites.

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. Who made heaven and earth, the sea and all that is in them, who keeps truth forever, who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners. Psalm 146

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787231346322812093.post-45815267287215314312010-01-16T00:22:00.002-05:002010-01-16T00:34:05.081-05:00Amazing Sand Painting Video Germans Invading Ukraine in WWIIThis is amazing....it starts so peaceful and then build into a powerful message!

http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=vOhf3OvRXKg

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787231346322812093.post-35430972890715556922010-01-10T16:26:00.002-05:002010-01-10T16:26:29.109-05:00Madea Speaks on RelationshipsUnknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787231346322812093.post-48879425279330093812009-12-20T21:58:00.004-05:002009-12-20T22:05:26.390-05:00Not Your Cinderella - Catherine Britt CMAA Artist of the Year<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 200px; height: 104px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg6WeQPRZM50ckdreqzAZTFaHeIut7IYoNySkcuFT-I-xkbIab5W3o58r0kjDE1jXIm9bGAH11Dqk0hXU1ZtPSLRcsirI5NUiHL4ZYfk7GPTT9MJ2pOsHufWrDMRonBbAdXwNnwC0sD9mos/s200/Catherine+Britt.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5417518743013304738" />
You walk in a room and all the girls talk
I guess you get used to most of them fallin'
Down at you feet.
Cause you got the charm and the debonair down
So tall and dark like you just came out of
Some kind of fairy tale dream.
Oooh baby you're something
Oooh but I'm ...

Not your Cinderella
You're not the one in a million fella
The slipper ain't gonna fit me
Give my regards to Mr Disney
I'm no Sleeping Beauty
One kiss alone won't do it to me
Hate to be the one to tell ya
But I'm not your Cinderella.

I don't know if I believe in love at first sight
I think it might need just a little more time
To grow and be real.
So keep up the laughter and the ramblin' on
At the stroke of midnight I'm gonna be gone
This ain't a heart you can steal.
Oooh baby you're something
Oooh but I'm ...

CHORUS

CHORUS (Repeat)

Check out
Not Your Cinderella sung by CMAA Artist of the Year Catherine Britt on You Tube!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787231346322812093.post-32203392590920626512009-09-14T23:52:00.002-04:002009-09-14T23:55:04.015-04:00Like a Slingshot!<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 133px; height: 97px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirG-FD6DxIbOc1zaNZXh_mXOhOyVsa2JFrvCHwfTEtRCjGZtIsOW5Aj5NNO-hdpNY1nCmq0NncANK14sGkr7Scs0uJUowEeKEYgsugnI4bTQVersD5jHif5mGWIT8R0T0422FA1IT3GCO9/s320/slingshot+woman.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5381537372842703618" />

Sometimes a setback is just a setup, for a comeback, like a slingshot!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5787231346322812093.post-25099771071597776222009-09-11T10:26:00.002-04:002009-09-11T10:31:05.385-04:00Become a beginner and be a winner!<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 130px; height: 86px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhii4FblaXesY5wNol3Pwoy1KD8PBe_Y5QHryfnYkVXSXwG6kQ23SWjTPAv62-L-9rlqRGk2RzdPKDlOvno-LNdrRQZKHeYaLXCn7ZObbJj5Y4gYg_6aYafBRLbFvdDzJUSycpgpH4ABVse/s320/pioneer+woman.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5380217250122211394" />
"You can learn new things at any time in your life if you're willing to be a beginner.
